Fontrivia
Correctly answer this trivia question and you will be entered into a random drawing to win a free Borders & Background or Scrapbook Snips CD. "It is thought that the origin of April Fools Day began with the adoption, or lack of adoption, of this item:"

Send your answer to Fontrivia@LetteringDelights.com with the word Fontrivia on the subject line. Please include your shipping address and your choice of Borders & Backgrounds or Scrapbook Snips should you win.

Congratulations to last month's Fontrivia winners: Kathy Hunt (Dayton, WA), Stacey Kapu (Las Vegas, NV) and Jessica Friedmeyer (Victoria, BC - Canada).

The January question was:
"St. Valentine's day was originally a Roman holiday called what?"

Answer: Lupercalia or Juno's day.

The celebration was originally a Roman holiday called Lupercalia. It was a festival to celebrate Spring and fertility. With the advent of Christianity in Europe it remained a pagan holiday until it was associated with a St. Valentine, and the name changed.

Thanks for all who participated in last month's Fontrivia.
We invite you to enter this month, good luck!
