Remember the saying that March 'comes in like a lion but goes out like a lamb'? While I always knew this particular saying referenced typical weather conditions for the month of March, I realized that it is a metaphor with multiple applications.

While I was busy in February, settling into a routine, March was slowly and quietly skulking in the shadows, waiting to leap. And now, all of a sudden it's here. The seasons are getting ready to change and, if you are like me, you are anxiously looking forward to that change. As the month progresses, I will settle into it comfortably and before I know it, it will quietly come to and end and ease it's way out, just like a lamb.

We all have things in life that spring upon us. Maybe unexpectedly, or just because we've seemingly lost track of time. No matter the situation, we take them on, tame them and ease through them. Sometimes it may take a while, but we do all get past those lions in our lives.

Michelle Howe

And it is the things that we can relax with and take the time to enjoy, that can often help us tame the lions. I know that if I have plans to work on scrapbooks or another specific project, it gives me something to look forward to and some incentive to handle the tasks that may not be as fun or meaningful, but are part of life.

So, if you haven't yet, plan now to set aside some time this month to work on those photos that have been stacking up, or get to the project you have started (even if it is just an idea). We've got some great products in this newsletter that may be just what you are looking for, or may even spark in you a new idea or two. And even more ideas await you when you spend some time at LetteringDelights.com. With new products all the time and great ideas from many of our customers, you're sure to find something that will meet your needs.

And then, remember to share you ideas and projects with us. Every month we look for more entries in the Alphabet and Inspiration Station contests.

Here's to a great month of making and preserving memories for us all!

I hope all of you are enjoying the new products we’re bringing you this year. Keep reading and you’ll find out about more exciting things to come.....

Grin & Win

Grin & Win!

In keeping with our Safari theme, I thought it might be fun to do a little research about one of the most unique animals you might see on a Safari or at the zoo, where you will need to climb some stairs to look them in the eye. In addition to their unique coloring, giraffes also stand out in our mind because of their extreme height. How tall is the average adult male giraffe?

Send your answer to fontrivia@LetteringDelights.com with ‘grin & win’ on the

subject line. Please include your mailing address and your choice from the following products: Borders & Backgrounds CD or a Typing Delights CD. All correct answers will be entered into a random drawing.

Congratulations to Karen Ciszek (Calwell, Australia), Brenda Nakanda (Honolulu, HI) and Robyn Dunkleberger (Bartlesville, OK), the winners of the February trivia contest. 2005 is the Year of the Rooster. The rooster, along with the 11 other animals of the Chinese Calendar are all available in the Chinese Calendar Bundle.

Personal Trainer

They say there are two kinds of computer users. Those that have had a computer crash ... and those that will! With malicious viruses running rampant, hard drive failures and user errors (oops), the need to backup the items on your computer is more important than ever.

To help you in this quest, we have created this month's personal trainer to help you backup items you may have purchased from LetteringDelights.com. We hope this will be helpful!

So come on over to LetteringDelights.com and see the new look, our continuing specials and the new contest entries on the 10th. Be sure to bring along a friend.
