One of the reasons Ive always like this time of year is because the idea
of heading back to schools means that lots of things will be new; not just new
clothes, shoes and books, but also new friends, new knowledge and new experiences.
While not everyone is heading back to school, theres no reason that this
time of year cant be a time for us all to enjoy some new things as well.
It could be as simple as new towels or accent pillows in your home or even a new
routine or activity. Try a new ethnic food or visit a local museum you have never
been to before. Ive even tried some new things with my scrapbooking the
last few weeks. When I do a new layout, I save my titles and journaling
until the end, just leaving block of space to go in and add them later. Recently,
Ive been able to get quite a bit of scrapbooking done which means Ive
had lots of journaling to catch up on. Sometimes, Ill have a specific font
or alphabet in mind and that makes it pretty easy but there are many instances
where I | |
havent picked anything out in advance. This is where Ive made an
effort to always try something new a font or alphabet I have not used before.
There are so many to choose from thats it really is an easy task. And it
gives some good variety to my layouts. Its a very little thing but an easy
way to make sure Im doing something new. To help you find something
new to use, we are giving you a chance to win 5 all new alphabets! In the spirit
of back to school, we are designing an all new Letterman-style alphabet
and will make it available in 5 different color schemes. Enter our School Colors

 | With
all of the colors there are to choose from, I've often wondered which one is most
popular and decided that the people at Crayola would be a good source of information
and I was right; at crayola.com you can find America's 50 favorite colors. Which
color ranks #1 in popularity? Send your answer to fontrivia@LetteringDelights.com
with grin & win on the subject line. All correct answers will
be entered in a drawing to receive your choice of the Borders & Backgrounds
CD or a Typing Delights CD. Please include your mailing address and the CD you
would prefer with your entry. | Congratulations
to Anne Geck (Portland, OR), Marie Bare (Hammond, IN) and Susan Gothard (Rowlett,
TX), the winners of the August trivia contest. They answered correctly that Molokai
is the Hawaiian island which receives the fewest visitors each year.

Creating scrapbook
pages 12 inches by 12 inches is a very popular trend. Wouldn't it be nice to be
able to print 12 x 12 pages from your computer? It does require a printer that
supports this paper size. If you have this type of printer, the LD Supreme does
have the ability to print in this paper layout.
