No matter the number
associated with them, birthdays should be a great thing.
For kids, birthdays are usually about the party and presents.
As we get older, birthdays can still be about the party and
presents, but for many, the meaning behind birthdays changes.
One of my co-workers turned 50 recently. As
she was anticipating this milestone, she was not very happy
about it. The big day arrived and I greeted her with a hesitant “Happy
birthday,” not
knowing what her reaction would be. To my surprise, she was
excited and happy to be celebrating. She had decided that
since the birthdays were going to keep coming, the best thing
to do was accept and celebrate each one as a great accomplishment.
As I was thinking about birthdays, one layout
kept coming to mind. I think it’s my favorite birthday layout because
it’s simple, just the way I like my birthdays.
The candle
accents are my own creation, with a star shaped flame and
twisted wire accent. I used the font LD
Mixed, and to balance
the width of the photo to the width of the title and date
text, I put a space between each letter, with several spaces
between each word.

Personal Trainer: How to Download Past Purchased |
|

We recently changed the layout of LetteringDelights.com and
how you access the products you’ve purchased. Some
customers have asked us, where do I go to download past purchases? |
There are no longer download
links in the order confirmation e-mail that arrives after
you place an order. When you check out, you can immediately
download your products from your receipt page. To access
those products later, after you’ve left the receipt
page, you can find them in your order history.
You’ll need to sign in to view your order
history. There is a link in the top-right corner of every LetteringDelights.com page
called My Account. To sign in, click the My Account link,
and simply enter your user name (e-mail address) and the
password you entered at the time of your order. (If you’ve forgotten your password, there’s
a place to request it.) You can also go directly to the
login page here: http://www.creativedelights.com/myaccount_rd.php
After you sign in, click the “order history” button,
and you’ll see your list of orders by date. Click an
order to see the products you ordered at that time, along
with their download links.
The great thing about the My Account area is that you
can access your order history at any time, from any computer.
Even if you place an order from a computer you don’t
usually use, you can sign in later from the computer
you want to use your downloads on and access your products. |
