Card Project Idea: Love You Card
 |
Our new Card Delights printable cards are easy to
make and can be as versatile as you want. You can print and go, or
you can add some extra touches. Shown here is the Love You
card. Here’s how to duplicate this card:
- Type your desired message on the card front, card insert (inside)
and tag. Print with a color printer on cardstock. Cut out all elements,
and fold the card in half.
- Use walnut ink or color coordinated ink to give an aged look
to the edges of the card and accents.
- Mat the card insert (with your personalized text) on a color
coordinated piece of cardstock. Use walnut ink or color coordinated
ink to age the edges of the cardstock. Adhere the matted insert
to the inside of the card.
- Write a personal message on the blank tag. Adhere the tag inside
the card towards the top, overlapping the card insert.
- For a personalized touch, cut out the inside of the small frame
accent and put a photo of yourself behind the frame. Adhere the
frame and photo to the front of the card, next to the button.
- Punch a 1/8-1/4” hole through the center of the button
on the remaining tag. Attach the tag to a vase of color coordinated
roses with a 1’ length of ribbon.
Give the gift to your sweetheart, and enjoy the reaction that your
heartfelt gift creates |

Grin & Win
Trivia Contest
 |
Sending expressions of love has been a Valentine’s
Day tradition for many years; commercial valentines were first introduced
in the United States in the 1840s. Who was the woman who first designed,
produced and sold valentines in the US?
Send your answer to fontrivia@LetteringDelights.com
with grin & win on the subject line. All correct answers will
be entered in a drawing to receive your choice of any in-stock Lettering Delights
CD. Please include your mailing address and the CD you would prefer with your
entry. |
Congratulations to Valerie Cummins, Angie Stachelski and Laura Starks,
who knew that “Auld Lang Syne” translates to “old
long ago” or “the
good old days.”
