You may
have been thinking that summer has been here for weeks (I know
I have), but the calendar now says it’s officially here.
Have you been making plans for a family vacation or getaway
with friends?
Fortunately, summer fun doesn’t mean you have to travel
great distances or go to far away or exotic places. Chances
are there are plenty of things to see and do close to home
or within a few hours drive. It’s easy to put off those
nearby activities and think, “We’ll do that next
year” when something else comes along. I’ve decided
to focus this summer on all of those “close to home” activities
and not put them off any longer. My list of options is growing
every day, and if I get halfway through it, I’ll be
happy.
Whether your summer activities will include trips abroad,
trips to the next state or trips to the city zoo and neighborhood
playground, have fun this summer and capture the memories
with plenty of pictures!
