Whether
it’s the first day of kindergarten or the first day
of college, September is an exciting time of change for
students, their parents and the rest of the community.
I’m not in school anymore, but I still find this
time of year exciting. The summer schedules change, and
new routines are established.
Some changes are bigger than others and I’m working
on a big one – preparing for a cross-country move
that will take me closer to my family. In preparation
for this move, I’ve been considering all of the
things I’m going to miss about where I live now,
and I’ve been taking lots of pictures. I want to
ensure I’ll remember all of my favorite people,
places and things.
I spend most of my time lately packing and planning,
even though I really, really would rather scrapbook.
Fortunately, all of my Lettering Delights “supplies” are
already packed up--right on my computer. And you can

be entrusted to the moving truck. This will be an adventure
that I’m sure you will hear and see more about!
