Parking
lots are full, malls are crowded and for online shoppers,
and the fear of ‘backorder’ is strong. My list
is still long with cards to send, gifts to purchase, wrapping
to do and packages to mail. Even though there is still
a lot to do, there is still time to add personal touches.
If you are at all like me, you love to add personal touches
to gifts whenever possible, so with that in mind, I wanted
to share this great little holiday card idea. My Aunt Barbara
and I found some beautiful silver ornaments at a Christmas
shop and she purchased quite a few knowing something great
could be done with them. With some paper and creativity,
she turned this simple holiday item into a wonderful keepsake
gift. The flat, thin, silver ornaments fit perfectly inside
this darling handmade card, featuring the Lettering
Delights font TXT
Hoopla.

In the midst of all of the hustle and bustle, remember
that sometimes simple and heartfelt means even more than
large and expensive. I hope you all enjoy the holidays
and use your creativity to make the season special for
your family and friends.
P.S. A frame, fabric, and thin wooden ornaments would
also work well in a card. Check your local Christmas specialty
shop or home decor retailer (i.e. Crate & Barrel, Ikea)
for more great ornament ideas.
