Last
week I dropped by my brother's home and less than a minute
after my arrival, my 11 year old niece was bringing me
her scrapbook to look at. She had completed her first scrapbook,
filled with a wide assortment of photos from her as a baby,
her younger brother and sister, birthday parties and holidays.
She was so excited and so proud of what she had done. I
was thrilled to look at it and see how even in one album,
her style had developed and changed.
What was the best was her sheer delight in the accomplishment.
I love to scrapbook but I know when I complete a big project
like that by the time the end comes around I'm usually
so relieved I forget to be delighted. I learned from her
that day and thought I would also remind all of you to
