Just
recently, I realized that I'm pretty close to being able
to say that I have visited all 50 states. With Alaska and
Hawaii already checked off, making it to the remaining
eight on my list is completely possible. My visits have
not all been overnight stays, but have all been more than
simply crossing the state line or changing planes in the
airport. In order for me to count the state, I have to
have spent time in the state visiting at minimum a historic
site, attraction or specific community.
The states I still need to visit are somewhat scattered
so I'm giving myself a couple of years to get the visits
made but in the meantime, wanted to come up with a way
to document this accomplishment. This month's Creative
Corner features my first completed page from what will
be a 50 page mini-album recording my travels across and
around the USA.

| My 50 States
mini-album will feature the Lettering

This album will take a while to complete but it's going to
be a great project to work on and is sure to bring back wonderful
and fun memories. It's already helping me organize older
photo negatives as I look for a photo or two from state visits
made many years ago. I may come up short on photos from two
or three states but with Journaling

to write about my visit with great images representing the
state.
