There are two ways to create tracking links to your affiliate account once you have been approved as an affiliate. These links are important for the tracking so you get credit. The first is automated and doesn't allow for a lot of creativity with links. Scroll down for to see how to have creative links.
Follow these instructions to use the automated link generator:
- Sign into your affiliate account
- Go to "My Tracking Information"
- Your "tracking code" is available in the first field. In the second field labeled Tracking Link Generator, start typing the name of the product you wish to track to.
- Possible name matches of the product will begin to autofill under the field you are typing in. When you see the product you are after click on it. If you don't see the product you are looking for when you type, continue to type the name exactly as is on the product page. As more of the product name is typed, more options come available.
- The link to that product with your tracking code will immediately appear in the last window. Copy it and use on your site, social media, imagery and anywhere you want to link a potential customer to us and earn 20% of their sale. The 20% earning applies to their entire purchase price, not just the specific product you linked to.
If it is a singular product like Chicksters and Hopsters Signs - GS (http://www.letteringdelights.com/graphics/graphic-sets/sheri-mcculley/chicksters-and-hopsters-signs-gs-p11521c4c9) just add ?tracking=xxxxxxxxx (replace xxxxxxx with your afiliate number code) after the link to give it the tracking code. Your link will look like (http://www.letteringdelights.com/graphics/graphic-sets/sheri-mcculley/chicksters-and-hopsters-signs-gs-p11521c4c9 ?tracking=xxxxxxxxx (with the x's replaced by your code)
If it is a page that sells more than one item or has many links with in it, you will do it a little differently. For example if you are linking to all the fonts (http://www.letteringdelights.com/shop-all-c0). Add &tracking=xxxxxxxxx (with your afiliate code replacing the x's) at the end of the link. The link will look like: http://www.letteringdelights.com/shop-all-c0 &tracking=xxxxxxxxx
